Are you looking for a relaxing place to take a walk in nature or have a picnic while overlooking a beautiful pond? This 40-acre park is located south of Adams Street at 9876 Black River Court. The park offers walking trails around the 5-acre Hawthorn Pond with a kayak launch ramp, fishing deck, boardwalk and lookout stations at various locations around the pond as well as on the Macatawa River. The Hawthorn Pond Natural Area was developed in 2011 and is jointly owned by Holland Charter Township and Ottawa County.
All Holland Charter Township parks are open from 6:00 a.m. until 11:00 p.m.
