NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
ON THE PROPOSED
2026 TOWNSHIP BUDGET
The Board of Trustees of the Charter Township of Holland will hold a public hearing on the proposed township budget for fiscal year 2026 at the Holland Charter Township Hall, 353 North 120th Avenue, Holland, Michigan, on:
Thursday, September 18, 2025
At or shortly after 7:00 P.M.
The property tax millage rate proposed to be levied to support the proposed budget will be a subject of this hearing.
The proposed 2025 total ad valorem tax rate, including operating and debt revenues, will levy 4.86 mills. The total ad valorem tax rate levied in 2024 was 4.86 mills. The proposed 2025 ad valorem tax rate is as follows:
General Operating Fund 4.86 mills
Debt Service 0.00 mills
Total Ad Valorem Tax Rate 4.86 mills
The public is invited to ask questions and make oral or written comments on the proposed tax rate and on the budget. A copy of the budget will be available for public inspection at the Holland Charter Township Hall during regular office hours from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
The date and location of the meeting to take action on the proposed millage and budget will be announced at this public meeting, or action will be taken immediately after the public hearing on the above date and time.
The taxing unit publishing this notice, and identified below, has complete authority to establish the number of mills to be levied from within its authorized millage rate.
Holland Charter Township will provide necessary and reasonable auxiliary aids and services at this public hearing, such as signers for hearing impaired persons and audiotapes of printed materials for visually impaired persons, upon receipt of three days prior notice. Disabled persons requiring such auxiliary aids or services should do so by notifying the Township Clerk at the address listed below.
