Helder Park

This 159-acre park is located at 3751 104th Avenue on the northeast corner of 104th Avenue and Quincy Street and was established in 1989 by a gift of 20 acres from Henry and Irene Helder.  The northwest poriton of the park contains a forest area at the juncture of two major streams that form the Noordeloos Creek.  This area offers natural habitat, incluidng birds, deer, wildflowers and tall prairie grass.  Other portions of the park offer a picnic shelter, playground, two ball fields and five soccer fields for recreational use.
