Fall Leaf Disposal

HOLLAND CHARTER TOWNSHIP RESIDENTS

2016 Fall Leaf & Yard Waste Recycling
 

Effective March 28, 1995, Michigan’s Solid Waste Management Act (Act 641 of 1978, as amended) prohibited the open burning of leaves and grass clippings.

Holland Township is providing citizens of our township with an opportunity for Fall leaf disposal.

Guidelines for Recycling Services

  • Materials accepted are brush, branches, and limbs (up to 12" diameter) and leaves.
  • Brush must be separated from leaves.
  • No plastic, contaminates treated lumber or stumps accepted.
  • Customer is responsible for unloading and separating recycling materials.
  • No commercial vehicles for these recycling services.
  • The fall leaf and yard waste recycling services are open to Holland Charter Township residents without a drop off fee during the dates specified.
  • Proof of residency may be requested.

Hours for Drop Off Services

Fridays - Drop off may be made between the hours of 8:00 am and 5:00 pm

Saturdays - Drop off may be made between the hours of 9:00 am and 2:00 pm
