HOLLAND CHARTER TOWNSHIP PLANNING COMMISSION

Special Meeting

June 20, 2017

The meeting was called to order by Chairman Marion Hoeve at 5:30 p.m.

Present:   Chairman Marion Hoeve, Vice-Chairman/Secretary Jack Vander Meulen, Members LaVerne Johnson, Dennis Gebben, Ken Bosma, Norm Nykamp, and Ed Zylstra.  Also present were Assistant Planner & Zoning Administrator Corey Broersma, and Planning Consultant David Jirousek.

Absent: None

Mr. Hoeve invited Mr. Jirousek to begin the review of the provided Zoning Ordinance Update Project Review Draft dated June 6, 2017 (Articles 1-7, 15, & 23) and June 9, 2017 (Article 8-9):

Article 1 – Title and Purpose

PART II – Zoning Districts

Article 2 – Zoning Districts and Map

Article 3 – Agriculture Districts

Article 4 – Residential Districts

Article 23 – Land Use Definitions

Commissioners and Staff discussed various topics and directed Mr. Jirousek to continue revising the ordinance for the next special meeting.
